These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Augmex Career Portal at augmex.co (the "Service"), operated by Augmex Technologies ("Augmex", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be old enough to work under applicable law to use the Service. By using it, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are legally permitted to apply for the positions you select.

2. Your account

  • You are responsible for the accuracy of the information in your profile and applications.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for activity under your account.
  • You may sign in using a phone number, an email address, or a Google or LinkedIn account. Please use one method per identity so we can recognise you correctly.
  • Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Provide false, misleading, or impersonated information.
  • Upload files that contain malware or that you do not have the right to share.
  • Attempt to access other users' data, or scrape, disrupt, or overload the Service.
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of the information and documents you submit. You grant Augmex permission to store, process, and share that content with our hiring team for the purpose of evaluating your application and operating the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

5. AI-assisted features

The Service uses AI to help parse resumes and assist recruiters in reviewing applications. These features are assistive and do not replace human judgement. Using the Service does not guarantee an interview, an offer, or employment of any kind.

6. Third-party services

If you sign in with Google or LinkedIn, your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, text, and logos, is owned by Augmex Technologies and protected by applicable laws. You may not copy or reuse it without our permission.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any application will lead to employment.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Augmex Technologies will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

10. Termination

We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms or that are used in a way that harms the Service or other users. You may close your account at any time by contacting us.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, without regard to conflict of law principles.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
